Biographical Note:

John Kirton is an Associate Professor of Political Science, Acting Director of the Centre for International Studies, and Director of the G8 Research Group at the University of Toronto. He is a co-editor with David Dewitt and David Haglund of Building a New Global Order: Emerging Trends in International Security, (Toronto: Oxford University Press, 1993).
